OUR ORGANIZATION

"Becoming a part of the one percent..."

"Writing and publishing one's story is a powerful act of empowerment, yet the vast majority of people who dream of doing so, never take the step to make it a reality. According to Strides, over 80% of Americans express a desire to write a book, but less than 1% actually follow through and publish. This stark difference underscores the importance of not just dreaming, but acting on the desire to share one's unique experiences and voice with the world.

Writing your story is not only impactful for readers but also offers profound personal benefits to the author. Research has shown that expressive writing can improve mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression. A study published in the Journal of Psychosomatice Medicine, found that individuals who engaged in regular, reflective writing reported lower blood pressure and stronger immune function. Writing helps people process complex emotions, promotes self-discovery, and fosters a sense of accomplishment and control over their narrative.

By turning the intention to write into action, individuals can unlock these significant health benefits and contribute to a legacy that inspires and empowers others. Sharing personal stories has the power to connect, heal, and motivate change, making the pursuit of writing not just a personal milestone but a meaningful contribution to collective growth."

"She Inspires, Inc. is committed to changing the narrative."

"Literacy is a cornerstone of college readiness, playing a critical role in a student's ability to succeed in higher education. Strong reading and writing skills are essential for comprehending complex texts, engaging in analytical discussions, and producing well-crafted academic papers. Unfortunately, many prospective college students face significant challenges in this area. According to recent data, approximately 40% of students who take the ACT do not meet the college readiness benchmark for English and reading, which indicates they may struggle with the rigorous demands of college-level work. Similarly, over 50% of students score below 600 on SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, a key metric that colleges use to asses literacy skills.

These statistics contribute to lower admission rates, as colleges and universities often require competitive ACT and SAT scores as part of their application process. Students who fail to demonstrate proficient literacy skills are at a disadvantage, reducing their chances of being admitted into their desired programs and institutions. Addressing literacy gaps through early intervention robust reading programs, and targeted support can help increase college admission rates and ensure students are better prepared for the academic challenges ahead."

"A strong literacy foundation matters."

"Literacy is fundamental to a student's academic success and future opportunities, forming the bedrock upon which all learning is built Foundational reading comprehension and writing skills acquired in elementary and middle school are essential for critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Without a strong literacy foundation, students face significant challenges in all areas of study, impacting their overall educational trajectory.

Statistics reveal the urgency of addressing literacy at an early age. According t0 the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), only 35% of 4th graders and 34% of 8th graders in the USA are proficient in reading. This means nearly two-thirds of students in these critical learning stages are performing below proficiency, risking long-term academic struggles. Failure to establish these vital skills early contributes to lower pass rates, diminished confidence, and reduced readiness for the rigors of high school and beyond.

She Inspires, Inc. serves as the leading educational resource that prioritizes comprehensive literacy programs that foster strong reading and writing abilities from the earliest years of school. We empower our students with the tools they need for future success, closing achievement gaps and opening pathways for lifelong learning and growth."

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Weiner M. Crumbly is a trailblazer in the literary world, empowering women to step boldly into their stories and claim the title of bestselling author. As an Author Coach and Publisher, she has led multiple anthology projects that have given women the confidence to share their journeys—one chapter at a time. Her proven program has not only produced bestselling co-authors but has also transformed their mindsets, unlocking new possibilities for them as writers, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders.

Weiner’s love for learning began in her early years in the UK, where she was born and raised. Education and literacy were core values instilled in her by her parents, shaping her into the avid reader and ambitious student she became. Her fascination with science eventually led her to the United States, where she pursued a career in Medical Laboratory Science (formerly called Medical Technology). For over 34 years, she thrived in laboratory science, but beneath the lab coat was a woman whose passion for storytelling and empowerment never faded.

From a young age, Weiner dreamed fearlessly. As a child, she filled her journals with visions of becoming a scientist, often requesting chemistry sets and stethoscopes as Christmas gifts. She would excitedly play out her future career, never doubting that she was capable of achieving anything she imagined. These childhood experiences fueled her mission to inspire children and youth to dream even bigger—to write down their goals and chase them with intention.

Today, Weiner’s passion for literacy extends far beyond her own success. She is a champion for voices that are often overlooked, ensuring that women and children, especially those from underserved communities, have the opportunity to be seen, heard, and valued. This dedication led to the creation of She Inspires, Inc., a nonprofit organization that serves as a beacon of hope for women and youth who long to share their gifts, tell their stories, and turn their dreams into reality.

Through her work, Weiner is not just publishing books—she’s transforming lives, one story at a time.
